Im not gonna lie though. Emotionally speaking, this has been a terrible week. I haven't cried so much in such a short period of time. Such a rush of emotions. Everything from loneliness to feeling like I don't belong. But honestly as the days go by, Im getting more comfortable. Slowly but surely. Jesus is faithful and never leaves his own. Glory!
Our first convocation (morning service with worship and a teaching from a guest speaker), held in the Flames basketball stadium, was okay. The worship team are definitely good musicians, but I was saddened by the lack of the focus on Christ in the lyrics. It was more about "loving how I changed my life" rather than praising God for his holiness, grace, kindness, love, mercy, justice, wrath and his sacrifice. Don't get me wrong they weren't heretical or anything, just a little soft. When the worship was over, they played a video of a Jerry Falwell Sr. sermon before he died. Is was okay. Good motivational speech. But thats about it.
The people are extremely nice here. My roommates are real cool. Everyone here plays guitar! LoL, of course right. Anyway, thanks yall for reading this. I will keep yall updated. My prayer is that Christ will be glorified in all of your lives and mine. Thanks to those who kept me in their prayers. I really really need it.
Praising Jesus forever!!!

Keep encouraged bro, use those times of despair as fuel to cast yourself in the presence of God. Man i remember the days away from home when the best times i had was riding in my car at night (in a me and God zone), i mean i could've been with a large group of people and still be lonely and a lot of the time just longing for Him (for more) although at the time i was really lacking good doctrine.
D. Martyn Lloyd Jones in Preaching and Preachers gives the great advice of kowing what to read when in different states: like medicine-

Thanks brother. Thank you for your comment.
I have found myself at times feeling the same exact way. Its crazy. But God is good. He is my portion. I don't worry bout these things because he is God and I am not.
Thanks for the resources bro.
